When I was home a few months ago, I shared the first part of my collection. Today I am sharing the rest of my lovely vinyl collection! Let’s get started.
John Mayer // Room For Squares
This was one of the first records I purchased! I still remember the excitement I felt when I played this album on my new record player.
Local Natives // Gorilla Manor
Local Natives // Hummingbird
My sister has been a huge influence on my music taste. Local Natives was one of her best recommendations. Gorilla Manor and Hummingbird are their first two albums. I still have to purchase their third record, Sunlit Youth!
Mumford & Sons // Sigh No More
I remember my sister playing this album in the car when it first came out. I had to purchase it when I saw it in Newbury Comics. Whenever I play this record, it still reminds me of the first time I listened to it.
The 1975 // The 1975 : Self-Titled
The best part about this record is that it’s clear! It adds something unique to one of my favorite albums.
Gary Clark Jr. Live
I remember seeing Gary Clark Jr. live at the Osheaga Music Festival and I fell in love with his music and his guitar playing! His music is an amazing mix of blues, rock, and soul. Go on YouTube and search for one of his live performances, I swear you won’t regret it.
Wild Child // Fools
Wild Child has been one of my favorite bands for a few years now. I bought this record when I went to their show last September!
Paramore // All We Know Is Falling
Paramore // brand new eyes
Paramore // Paramore : Self-Titled
My all time favorite band. I’m trying to collect all four released albums. I still need to purchase their second album, RIOT!. Paramore is releasing their fifth album, After Laughter, on May 12th!
Band of Horses // Why Are You OK
This album has a unique way of intensifying my emotions. Band of Horses has such a unique rock sound, check them out here –> Band of Horses Spotify
James Bay // Chaos And The Calm
I also saw James Bay at Osheaga! This album was purchased at Newbury Comics. It’s my favorite to listen to at home when I’m writing a post that involves a lot of emotions and deep thought.
Iron & Wine // The Shepherd’s Dog
I purchased this record a few years ago when I was going through a breakup. It inspired me to write and read a lot of poetry. I also saw him live with the lead singer of Band of Horses, Ben Bridwell. They have a collaboration album called Sing Into My Mouth and it is the perfect combination of both artists’ sounds.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my record collection!
Do you own any records? Which one is your favorite?
Stay rad,
Caroline Abigail
Awesome collection. I started a record collection, but it got really expensive, so it has remained small. My favourite would have to be an original pressing of Marvin Gaye – What’s Going On.

I had to take a break from collecting too! Some vinyls were just too expensive to get. My favorite from What’s Going On is “Right On”; such a great album!
