This past week I traveled to California with my best friend and her family! We went to Yosemite National Park from the 21st to the 26th. I wanted to share a collection of photos to show what we did each day. The photos don’t properly show how beautiful Yosemite was in person, but get ready, I have lots to share! Make sure you click the photos to get the full view!
July 21st // Day 1
June Lake, Tioga Pass, Lee Vining, Tenaya Lake, Olmsted Point
July 22nd // Day 2
Giant Sequoias in Merced Grove, Rainbow Pool, Oakdale Wine Tasting Train
July 23rd // Day 3
Tunnel View, Sentinel Dome, Glacier Point.
Half Dome, El Capitan, and Cathedral Rocks can be seen from the top of Sentinel Dome. Best view of Half Dome is from Glacier Point!
July 24th // Day 4
We started this day with some white water rafting. Sadly I don’t have any pictures of us. After we rafted, we went to the Ansel Adams Gallery and to Lower Yosemite Falls!
July 25th // Day 5
On our fifth day, we hiked seven miles to Nevada Falls. We took the Mist Trail up Vernal Falls to get to the top of Nevada Falls. On the way down, we hiked the John Muir Trail! This was a seven-mile hike with a 2,200 ft elevation gain!
July 26th // Day 6
Sadly, we had to leave Yosemite. On our way out, we stopped at Bridalveil Falls and took a photo in front of the park sign!
Yosemite has been one of my favorite National Parks I’ve ever visited! If you ever get the chance to go, I highly suggest you check it out. Every view was more beautiful than I had imagined. I had some emotional moments when I looked out and saw miles and miles of conservation. I am forever grateful that I got to go on this amazing trip. This was a vacation I will cherish forever đŸ™‚

Beautiful photos! I’ve always wanted to go to California, and I really want to visit Yosemite as well. Actually, one of my clients at my job is the Yosemite Conservancy. I’m always secretly hoping they’ll pay to fly me out one day, but I doubt that will happen. A girl can dream. đŸ˜›
