B.L.O.O.M : November/December 2017

Happy Thursday everyone! It’s been a few months since I posted a “B.L.O.O.M” so I combined my November and December favorites!

• I used to go through a few bottles a year of TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray, until I decided to test out a new one. I instantly fell in love with Garnier Fructis Flat Iron Perfector Straightening Mist. I use this before I blow-dry and straighten my hair. It’s essential to use spray as a base before applying heat to your hair. The formula is light and doesn’t leave residue on my hair. It also contains Argan oil and is paraben-free!

• Last month I mentioned that I was waiting for Flux to come in the mail! It finally  came and I can’t put it down. Orion is an extremely talented writer. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has fallen out of love or experienced a breakup and struggled to cope with it.

• I’ve been trying to restrict my intake of milk, cheese, and anything else from cows. I plan on writing a separate post about it because it’s been a challenging process! One of my favorite substitutions has been Organic Original Almondmilk. I’ve been drinking this since I’ve been home from college. This milk substitution is great because it has 30-50% more calcium that original dairy milk. 

• When I’m home from college, I’m either working or lounging around with friends/family. My go-to outfits have been jeans, converse, and a pull-over sweater. Even at work, I can wear jeans, converse, and a light zip-up over my work shirt. It’s super easy and comfortable, even for the super chilly days.

• I received a new little piece of jewelry for my birthday from my sister’s girlfriend Elizabeth. It’s this awesome earring (pictured in my first pierced hole) that she purchased from Catbird. I’ve been wearing it to spice up my going-out outfits! I don’t usually wear dangly earrings in my first hole, but this is the perfect size and totally suits my personality. It’s been a huge hit!
