College Graduation!!

Hello everyone!

This post is an exciting one because I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst! The feeling of having your face on a huge screen as you step on stage to shake the Dean’s hand was like no other. It was two full-days of love and happiness shared with friends and family. I’m filled with anticipation for the next chapter and also sad to close this one.

UMass was the place I called home for four years. Unpacking my bags as a freshman was daunting. My heart raced as I navigated my way around campus for the first time. Saying “hi” to strangers in hopes that they too needed a friend in class was all new to me. Some days were tough and I didn’t want to go out and meet new people, or go to class, but these tasks got easier day by day. As each year passed, I got more and more comfortable with being at school and with myself. UMass helped me grow into the person I am today, and I couldn’t be more lucky. I learned how to manage my time more wisely, be more social and follow my heart when making decisions. I also learned to always be kind, to understand that everything does not always works out how I want it to, and that I will always solve my problems.

I met a great group of lifelong friends while I was at school, while also growing friendships with friends from home. These friends mean the world to me. They’ve seen me at my worst and also at my best. We always know how to make each other smile when we’re down, and cheer us on when we’re thriving. I could not have done it without these friends – they made my college experience the absolute best!

My college experience was more than I could ask for. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation with a focus in Environmental Conservation and a minor in Math. I am so excited to see where this next chapter in my life takes me!

Thanks for reading!

Stay rad,

Caroline Abigail

  1. Congradualations! I graduate this summer and have just found out that my gown is black with orange borders so I am not pleased as orange is not the best-looking color and am incredibly jealous of your all-black gown. Do you know where you want to go from here? xx

    1. Thank you so much!! & oh my goodness, I didn’t even know that they had different colored gowns! I hope you get all black too! I’m not sure what’s next. I currently work at Crate & Barrel and I’m applying to other jobs as well, so I’m just going with the flow for now. Waiting to see what happens with my job applications!
