B.L.O.O.M : May/June 2018

Hello & happy Thursday! 🌞

I am back with some monthly favorites – B.L.O.O.M (Beauty, Literature, Obsessions, Outfits, + Music).

BEAUTY

It’s been a while since I used a BB Cream. I love the look of full coverage foundation, but since my acne has been better, I pulled out my stowed away BB Cream and gave it another chance! I use the CoverGirl CG Smoothers BB Cream in shade 810 (light to medium). On the skin, it looks more like a tinted moisturizer, not a BB Cream, which is great for ‘no makeup’ days. It blends really well, creating an effortless look! 

LITERATURE

Sadly to say, I haven’t been doing too much reading lately. Life has been a bit hectic, and it’s hard to find time to sit and read. I skim through poem books and my John Muir journals, but nothing new. If anyone has any book recommendations, let me know in the comments!

OBSESSIONS

Scrunchies!! These have come back into style and I’m stoked. My friend and I wear ones that a friend’s mom made us, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. Claire’s recently had a 50% off online sale, so I got 11 new ones! 😅

OUTFITS

On the days that I don’t work, I’ve been keeping my outfits super easy and casual – jean shorts, belt, tucked-in tank.

 

MUSIC

I decided to change up this section a little bit by putting all of my song faves into a playlist on Spotify! I’ve added about thirty songs from past posts, and I’ll also list out the new additions below; Beyond This Music
